of Departure
Sheridan arrives at Babylon 5 to replace Sinclair and
deal with a renegade Minbari Cruiser. In the opening credits, Delenn is shown
in her old form from the first season as to not ruin the surprise of her transformation which is revealed at the end of this
episode. This was however forgotten when they created the Widescreen version for the SciFi Channel. The whole cast was asking
themselves during summer break if Delenn would have wings after leaving the cocoon. Because of this Straczyniski put some
refrences in this Epsiode, like the security guy tricking the other one: "It's Deleen, she left the cocoon and is flying around..."

And
Now for a Word
We see life on Babylon 5 through the eyes of ISN, supplemented by interviews, statistics and even a few commercials. At the end of the PSI Corp commercial a "subliminal" message flashes over the screen
for just long enough to be legal. Though in France the laws were stricter, and the segment had to be cut. The secrect message displayed in the Psi
Corps-Ad says: "The Psi Corps is your friend. Trust the Corps."

Draal reveals himself for Sheridan, while Refa and Londo set a plan in motion that will lead to the final defeat of the Narns. The role of Draal was recast because the original actor unavailable due to health
problems, although he later appeared in the series a few times as Bother Theo. Note that there appears to be a perfect mixture
of Narns and Centauri present at the bar when hearing the announcement that the Centauri has begun the attack on the Narn
homeworld. Wasn't Geribaldi supposed to have issued a lockdown just before that happened? Why would so many Centauri and Narns
mix anyhow considering they are at war? There should be a lot of other races present, but they just had to set up for a fight,
didn't they.
