AfterMASH was an
attempt to continue the success of M*A*S*H using only three of the regular characters- Sherman Potter, Max Klinger, &
Father Mulcahy. Mildred Potter (who had been referred to many times on M*A*S*H but never seen) and Soon-Lee were now regular
cast members. Radar and Col. Flagg guest starred in the new show. Other than that, no other M*A*S*H cast member participated.
AfterMASH did well in its first season, but at the beginning of the second season, ratings fell dramatically, and mid-way
through the season, and after a number of cast changes, the series was cancelled. AfterMASH has never been re-run in syndication.
A spin-off pilot called "R*A*D*A*R" starring Gary Burghoff was aired by CBS in July of 1984, but was never made into a television
series.
